Job Description

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will represent our company vis-a-vis our Engineering Partner in China. The successful candidate will monitor and coordinate the performance of their work, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and agreed execution schedules.

The assignment will last between 12-18 months in China, with possible locations in Canton or Beijing. The selected candidate must be willing to mobilize there.

Responsibilities and Roles

• Coordinate the Engineering Partner\'s execution of their works, verifying correct interpretation of project specifications.
• Ensure the Engineering Partner has project specifications and other requirements at their latest revision.
• Transmit project procedures and instructions to the Engineering Partner for implementation.
• Oversee the application of HSE criteria in designs.
• Supervise compliance with document issuance as required by the schedule.
• Provide missing data for the Engineering Partner to progress with their work.
• Attend Design Review, 3D Model review, Hazops, SIL, etc., within the scope of the Engineering Partner.
• Ensure correct and orderly information flow with the Engineering Partner.
• Analyze progress given by the Engineering Partner.
• Review Monthly Progress Reports before their official issuance.
• Check present and future staffing needs in the Engineering Partner\'s office.
