Job OverviewThe Assistant Casino Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing casino operations, collaborating closely with the Casino Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day activities, exceptional guest relations, and adherence to gaming regulations.Key Responsibilities : - Supervising staff performance to drive efficiency and productivity.- Coordinating with the Casino Manager to develop and implement strategies for revenue growth and expense reduction.- Maintaining compliance with gaming rules and regulations, ensuring a secure and fair gaming environment.- Developing and executing plans to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.- Fostering a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, motivation, and development.- Serving as a liaison between departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.- Providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to staff members to enhance their performance and skills.Requirements and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.- At least one year of experience as a Senior Casino Supervisor with high performance ratings, preferably on a shipboard vessel.- One to two years of progressive supervisory experience in a casino function at resorts, cruise lines, or hotels.- Ability to make sound judgments regarding rules and regulations.- Capacity to observe and recognize payout accuracy, dealer behavior, and associated activities.- Successful completion of a Gaming Board-approved dealer school.- Knowledge of customer service principles, needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation methods.- Understanding of human resources policies and practices, with ability to motivate and manage international staff, administer disciplinary actions, and improve employee performance.- Familiarity with computers, Internet access, and software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs.
