Role Summary
As a Machinery Sales Engineer , you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships across assigned territories. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and customer-focused communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in designated markets.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to maximize sales potential.
- Understand customer requirements and advise on suitable machinery solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate specifications and delivery.
- Conduct machinery demonstrations and support clients across pre- and post-sales stages.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new growth avenues.
- Provide regular sales reporting, forecasting, and strategic input to management.
Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.Fluent in Spanish and English .Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand complex technical solutions.Experience or familiarity with printing machinery, production processes, or related industrial equipment is a plus.Experience
3–5 years of experience in industrial machinery sales .Experience in technical sales, customer demonstrations, or project-based machinery solutions is highly desirable.Exposure to printing / packaging machinery industries is a strong advantage.
