Shared Equipment Technician

The Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is offering a position for a Shared Equipment Technician within the Laboratory Coordination Unit. This unit ensures the proper functioning of the laboratories and shared areas at VHIR.

Its mission is to support research staff and to manage and supervise all common-use zones, including cell culture rooms, shared equipment rooms, freezer rooms, centrifuge rooms, among others.

The unit also provides laboratory material sterilization services and manages technical support for equipment-related incidents.

Education and qualifications :

Required :

• Advanced vocational training in laboratory science (CFGS / FPII) or a degree in a related scientific discipline.
• Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (B1 / B2)
