Position summary : Seek an experienced and driven Senior Account Executive to lead strategic sales efforts across enterprise clients in the DACH region. This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role focused on new business acquisition (70%) and existing account development (30%). The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality, a strong command of MEDDIC / MEDDPICC and Command of the Message, and a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets within the enterprise software space.
Responsibilities
- Manage and close complex enterprise sales cycles, engaging C-level and senior stakeholders across IT and business functions
- Drive pipeline generation and lead qualification activities, developing new business opportunities and managing the full sales lifecycle
- Create strategic account plans, ROI models, and win strategies aligned to customer priorities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Professional Services to drive successful client outcomes
- Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets and KPIs through strategic selling and territory planning
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, opportunity tracking, and reporting via CRM systems
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums
- Leverage and build strategic partnerships to expand influence and drive additional revenue
- Maintain deep product knowledge and a strong understanding of competitive solutions
Required Qualifications
5+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience in quota-carrying rolesDemonstrated track record of consistent overachievement in new business acquisitionProficient in MEDDIC / MEDDPICC and Command of the Message sales methodologiesStrong executive presence with the ability to build trust and influence C-level stakeholdersProven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cyclesDeep understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, including BI, AI, analytics, cloud, CRM, or ERPFluent in German and English (written and spoken)Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of modern BI / analytics platforms, ETL tools, data warehousing, and enterprise cloud ecosystemsFamiliarity with competitive software products in the data analytics and business intelligence spaceExperience selling into large enterprise accounts in the DACH regionEmployment type
