At ALOHAS, we're looking for a Senior Merchandiser with strong commercial intuition and a balance of analytical thinking and creative sensibility. You'll help shape the future of our collections by driving strategy, collaborating cross-functionally, and translating data into impactful product decisions.
YOUR CHALLENGE
1. Range Planning & Product Strategy
- Build the seasonal Range Plan including all products, balancing innovation with proven winners and commercial products and showcase styles.
- Define category roles, pricing strategy, and style count per block and channel.
- Identify and propose assortment gaps and opportunities based on historical performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Ensure the range supports the collection strategy, brand vision, and base pricing and margin targets.
2. Data Analysis & Performance Feedback
Analyze category performance, sell-through, and consumer / channel behavior to inform future range decisions.Continuously optimize product mix and collection depth based on insights from previous seasons and channel merchandiser feedback.3. Collection Execution & Follow-up
Monitor design and product development progress to ensure alignment with the Range Plan.Own and update seasonal tools such as Range Plan vs reality, understand the gaps vs the original brief and create an action plan with Design and / or Product Development teams.Communicate to the rest of the organization any changes vs. original Range Plan in each Collection and Prototype revision..Achieve launch of products for Commercial Calendar milestones.Coordinate and lead with Design internal presentations (from Kick Off to Final Collection Reviews) and ensure readiness of all the models for the Channel Merchandiser to plan and execute the go-to-market4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Design Team : Brief design clearly on collection strategy, category needs, and pricing architecture. Lead ongoing alignment meetings to ensure timely and relevant development.Channel Merchandisers : Align on channel assortment needs and priorities. Ensure range reflects key commercial calendar moments across all channels.Brand & Marketing : Partner to ensure collection storytelling and product focus are clear and aligned with launch moments, campaigns, and seasonal objectives.YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU...
Have 5+ years of experience in a merchandising role, ideally in fashion or similar consumer segmentsHave a strong commercial sense and a solid track record in making data-backed decisionsHave a highly analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, assortment planning, and KPI managementAre equally passionate about numbers and product. You enjoy working with spreadsheets and with design moodboardsAre fluent in both English and SpanishAre based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (minimum 3 days / week in our Barcelona HQ)Are familiar with collection structure, price positioning, and competitive landscape in the fashion industryHave a deep interest in fashion, trends, and sustainability
