Responsibilities
- Develop SAP applications using the ABAP programming language
- Create custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements based on business needs
- Implement standard and custom enhancements with user exits, BADIs, and enhancement points
- Integrate SAP modules with internal and external systems
- Build and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services
- Provide technical support for SAP applications
- Resolve technical challenges related to ABAP programs and SAP modules
- Write detailed technical specifications, design documents, and user guides
- Document all development work comprehensively
- Collaborate with functional teams to align business needs with technical solutions
- Partner with other developers and IT staff to optimize integration and performance
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices
- Review code to ensure quality
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related disciplineMinimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP DeveloperProficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including reportsBackground in SAP modules such as FI, CO, PS, MMUnderstanding of SAP enhancement techniques like user exits, BADIs, enhancement spotsFamiliarity with SAP Fiori / UI5 development and OData servicesKnowledge of SAP integration technologies including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web ServicesExpertise in ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in SAPCompetency in SAP HANA database and relevant programming methods such as CDS views and AMDPSkills in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programsUnderstanding of SAP security concepts and authorizationsFlexibility to use SAP S / 4HANA and manage migration projectsSAP Developer certificationBackground in analytical and problem-solving rolesStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsAbility to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively at various management levelsNice to have
