Overview

Senior Threat Hunter

We are seeking a seasoned threat hunter to join our cybersecurity team. As a key member of our managed services group, you will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and resolving security incidents, violations, and suspicious activities.

You will proactively drive hunting and analysis against available datasets from various sources to identify indicators of security breaches. You will leverage internal and external resources to research threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence on attackers and attack techniques.

You will innovate new processes and workflows to deploy proactive measures against complex threats and risks. You will design and implement data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from large data sets.

You will develop and maintain an understanding of the latest cybersecurity technologies, trends, and threats. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new tools, techniques, and response workflows to enhance cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Monitor, investigate, and resolve security incidents and suspicious activities as part of the managed services group. Proactively hunt for threats using datasets from diverse sources and apply research on threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques. Design and implement data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from large data sets. Develop and maintain knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies, trends, and threats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new tools, techniques, and response workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Cyber Threat Hunter or Incident Response professional.
• Deep knowledge of TTPs, attack frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and advanced threat actors.
• Experience with security applications such as data lakes, SIEM tools, and EDR platforms.
• Strong understanding of operating systems essentials including Linux / Unix and Windows.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certification (e.g., GIAC GCIH, GCFA, GREM, OSCP, CEH) is an advantage.
