Assistant Station Manager
The Assistant Station Manager is responsible for the cultivation and maintenance of crops and facilities. This includes leading the day-to-day activities of the station and rental locations : preparation of the greenhouse compartments, sowing, transplanting, nutrition, irrigation, crop protection, disease control, climate control, crop management, general maintenance of the farm, and rotation of the crops. The position is also in charge of the maintenance of equipment and greenhouses. Furthermore, this position will oversee a significant number of temporary workers as well as a considerable number of fixed employees working on the farm. Proven leadership of temporary and fixed employees as well as strong organizational skills are necessary.
The work is performed in collaboration with the Station Managers and the rest of the farm team. Priority crops are tomato, melon, and watermelon; experience with these crops is desired.
