Presales Engineer

A fast scaling Quantum / AI Technology software provider are offering an exciting opportunity for a driven Pre-Sales Engineer to join a global leader in Quantum and AI technologies, supported by major international investors and strong EU backing.

In this role, you will work directly with clients to understand their challenges, demonstrate our solutions, and guide them through the technical aspects of the sales process. You’ll act as the bridge between deep technical knowledge and clear business value, helping customers see how our innovations can transform their operations.

This is a 9-month fixed-term contract (with potential extension), based in Barcelona with hybrid working flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to define customer requirements and design tailored solutions.

Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations.

Provide detailed technical input for RFP / RFI responses.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product capabilities align with customer needs.

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented insights.

Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure.

Oversee model delivery for customers and coordinate trial deployments.

Travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and project delivery.

Desired Skills & Experience

Junior Level : 1–2 years of software engineering experience with focus on ML and data science.

Mid Level : 2+ years of experience in the same domains.

Strong background in AI / ML, data science, or computer engineering.

Hands-on experience with machine learning models (e.g., Transformers, CNNs, ViTs, LLMs).

Proficiency in Python; experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in leading technical conversations with clients.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
