At G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a NetOps Engineer to join our Network Operations team. You’ll deploy and support mobile core and IP network services, ensuring availability and performance across critical infrastructures. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of G+D's network and to support the company with new customer projects, network deployments and network troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain IP and mobile packet core networks.
- Manage incidents, service requests, changes and problems.
- Support customer projects, deployments, and network integration.
- Conduct troubleshooting and elevate to R&D when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with NOC and cross‑functional teams globally.
- Support reporting, monitoring, and service improvement efforts.
Desirable
Understanding of mobile roaming architecture including the role of serving networks, signalling interconnect and GRX / IPX providers.Knowledge of 2G / 3G networking, 4G LTE and 5G technologies.Experience with a range of telecoms technologies.Understanding / experience of GRX and IPX networks.Technical knowledge of maintaining on‑premises equipment and cloud services in areas such as virtual machines, storage, network and security.Experience in deploying and maintaining production infrastructure to achieve high levels of uptime and reliability.Technical Knowledge – Protocols
