IT / SAP Key User

Overview

IT / SAP Key User role at DP World Madrid, a brand new site in Torija. You will be working in a busy warehouse where you will ensure that IT systems are running efficiently and effectively. The IT systems underpin the effectiveness of the warehouse and are a foundation for its growth.

You will be involved in new technologies and software automation to streamline processes and support smoother operational activity. You will be accountable for the daily maintenance of the operational systems and ensure that any queries or production incidents are resolved swiftly and correctly. You will act as the 1st line support in the warehouse for both software and hardware issues, and you will escalate to 3rd party support groups if needed. You will provide general desktop application support, installation and configuration of applications, and end user support for service requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support IT systems in a busy warehouse environment to ensure smooth operational activity.
• Provide 1st line IT support for software and hardware issues; escalate complex incidents to 3rd party support as required.
• Install, configure and support desktop applications; provide end user support for service requests.
• Assist with new technologies and software automation to improve efficiency and processes.
• Handle daily maintenance of operational systems and respond to queries / incidents promptly.
