Senior Sustainability Analyst

Additionally, they can encourage their portfolio companies to reduce negative impacts, identify areas to make a positive impact and capitalize on opportunities presented by the sustainability transition.

ESG factors significantly impact a company’s long-term risk and financial performance. Companies that implement ESG practices correctly are more responsible, less risky, and more likely to succeed. We acknowledge the growing importance of this issue, and investors collaborate with us to evaluate and improve their investments’ ESG performance. We collaborate with companies from different regions and industries to assess their understanding of sustainability, their current performance, and support them with defining strategies and action roadmaps on how they can become more sustainable and secure in the future. We monitor their progress annually, and our influence can improve their actual sustainability performance over time.

Our digital ESG reporting platform will be scaled up, and our advisory services will transition into more strategic ESG deep dives and sustainability transition trajectories. To stay ahead, we continuously expand our knowledge in various areas of sustainability. We encourage our employees to develop expertise in a specific sustainability topic aligned to their interests. They can actively share their knowledge through co-authoring white papers, presentations at ESG Academies organised by us for clients and our network, and participating in presentations / panel discussions at relevant conferences and summits.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our ESG & Sustainability team. Analysts typically work on multiple projects together with a team of consultants and a Manager, while being involved in all aspects of our analytical work. This is a client-facing role, involving building and maintaining investor client relationships as well as engagement with and strategic guidance of portfolio companies’ management on the ESG & Sustainability topics. Example projects range from development of ESG & Sustainability policies & strategies for Investment funds, annual ESG assessments and development of sustainability strategy roadmaps for companies, and facilitation of ESG strategy sessions with company management. As an active thought leader in the transition to sustainable business practices, we are constantly developing and expanding our knowledge on various areas of the sustainability landscape. To remain at the forefront of this industry, we encourage our employees to develop expertise in a sustainability area aligned to their interests.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates, with 1-2 years of working experience, that have working knowledge of or genuine interest in sustainability. We are seeking candidates with working experience within consultancy, sustainable finance or in-depth knowledge of a technical sustainability topic such as climate or nature. If you have an excellent academic record with a master’s degree in sustainability, finance, business, economics / econometrics or engineering and are looking to make a positive impact we would love to hear from you. Strong report writing and verbal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas

Strong project management and client relationship management skills

Expertise in MS PowerPoint and Excel
