Field Service Engineer

Position Overview

Company : Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions (SLS), a division within Wärtsilä Marine.

Position : Field Service Engineer (permanent)

Preferred locations : Spain, Italy, Portugal. Will travel approximately 80% of the time globally.

What you will be doing

• Execute field service activities according to work plans
• Perform overhauls and repairs on‑site or in workshops
• Professionally engage with customers throughout service delivery
• Provide internal and external updates on job progress
• Ensure all work complies with Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures
• Report on work order status to customers and internal teams
• Continuously seek smarter, safer, and more efficient solutions
