Experienced Data or Software Engineer

You are convinced AI and IoT are having a big impact on society and you want to be part of that shift. You are a fan of open source technology and your idea of fun involves massive data processing or scalable compute clusters. You are eager to keep on learning and growing and like to work in a dynamic, no-nonsense scale-up environment.

We are currently looking for remote senior (data) engineers in Madrid, Malaga and Valencia to expand across Europe. The role involves regular travels (~30%) to our homebase in Belgium, and clients in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

Experienced software engineers with an emerging passion for data welcome! At least 5 years of experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and deploy a wide range of data applications, in the cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Design complex analytics solutions with large data sets on distributed systems
• Set and direct the technology vision of an entire data product or service
• Make technical teams successful
• Develop a sense of purpose for a full client engagement
• Provide thought leadership for clients and partners to help them understand the data analytics landscape
• Debug organisations and processes
