Descripción del trabajoApply structured testing methodologies. Review technical documentation to identify acceptance criteria and test deliverables. 2. Test Design and Execution Execute manual and automated tests (functional, non-functional, and regression). Perform API testing with Postman, Kreya, or SoapUI. Prepare test environments and required datasets. Monitor logs and system behavior during tests to detect defects. 3. Test Automation Maintain and enhance automation scripts, promoting reusability. Propose tools and approaches to improve testing efficiency. 4. Reporting and Defect Management Log, classify, and re-test incidents using Jira or other tools. Participate in root cause analysis and suggest product improvements. 5. Collaboration and Support Analyze logs and metrics (Grafana, Prometheus) to support debugging. Contribute to defining use cases and test scenarios. 6. Non-functional Testing Apply non-functional testing at component and system levels. Use tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or others suggested by the specialist. Experience : Minimum 5 years in software testing, including manual and automated testing in complex environments. Technical knowledge : Test management and defect tracking tools (Xray, TestRail, Jira); Unix / Linux environments, relational databases (PostgreSQL), networks, and containers (Kubernetes). Methodologies : Experience in Agile and DevOps environments. Skills : Excellent analytical, debugging, and reporting skills. Languages : Advanced English (C1–C2). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation. Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments and shifting priorities. Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Overview
We are looking for a Test Engineer Specialist to join an international team in Strasbourg. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of delivered software by designing, executing, and automating tests within a structured, agile-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- 1. Test Strategy and Planning
Define and maintain test strategies and test plans.
Design and implement test cases using tools such as Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.
Produce test reports including coverage, status, and defect summary.
Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Test Managers.
Design and execute performance, load, and reliability tests.
