As our client continue their rapid global growth, they are seeking a visionary and dynamic Group CTO to lead their technology organisation, drive innovation, and deliver a world-class platform that supports our long-term business strategy.
The Group CTO will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology vision of the company. Leading a large-scale technical department across software development, infrastructure, architecture, DevOps, QA, and IT operations. They will energise and inspire the teams to deliver at pace, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. This is a critical executive role, working closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure the technology function is a key enabler of commercial success.
Define and deliver the company’s global technology strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial and product goals.
Drive improvements in delivery times, quality, scalability, and resilience of the platform.
Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement across all engineering teams.
Build and maintain a best-in-class technology function that balances agility with enterprise-grade robustness.
Oversee architecture, infrastructure, cloud strategy, data management, security, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Operations leadership to align technology delivery with business priorities.
Ensure the technology organisation is scalable and future-ready to support global growth.
Represent the company as a technology leader at industry events, conferences, and with key partners.
Proven experience as CTO, Group CTO, or equivalent executive technology leadership role in iGaming, Sports Betting, or other large-scale B2B technology environments.
Strong track record of improving delivery processes, velocity, and quality in complex technology organisations.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term innovation with short-term delivery.
Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and data-driven technologies.
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in global markets.
