About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect for our Cloud DevOps operations team in Barcelona. A Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing and implementing technology solutions that meet specific business needs. They work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Solution Architects play a critical role in guiding the technical direction of projects and ensuring the integration and interoperability of systems.

What you do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business objectives into scalable, secure technical solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Design comprehensive architecture solutions with a focus on Cloud Applications, including SaaS, multi-tenant applications, cloud infrastructure / Infrastructure as Code, automation, and continuous delivery / deployment.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and address interoperability challenges.
• Create detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams and specifications, maintaining documentation for future reference, and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units, working closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of solutions, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and performance benchmarks through testing and validation, providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects, and leading architectural reviews.
• Embrace an agile mindset to foster adaptability and responsiveness, implementing best practices and driving innovation within the organization, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
