Responsibilities

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Data Excellence & Business Analytics Manager with technical skills and business vision to join our Global Business Development Team at our Headquarters in Madrid.

Mission

Put in place a state-of-the-art Data Analytics Department :

Build the right foundations and develop a clear roadmap to elevate the function.

Develop the team to work with autonomy, supporting the countries, marketing and sales departments to elevate their skills.

Automate and introduce technology in existing tools.

Move from data crunching to insights generation; extract value from data to support the business.

Support Trade Marketing and RGM functions in their global plan.

Develop simple in-house models and liaise with external parties for more complex ones (pricing, ROI of promotions, etc.).

Support the Chief Marketing Officer in reporting to COMEX and the Board of Directors and provide ad hoc analyses to enable informed decisions.

Key Functions

Lead the team (1 Marketing & Sales Business Partner, 1 Business Analytics, 1 Junior Assistant).

Support M&S Business Partner to develop market and brand analysis for key stakeholders, assist in reporting to C-suite and Board of Directors, lead market estimation models, volume sales and SOM forecasts.

Support Business Analytics to develop pricing models, promotions analysis, portfolio segmentations, assortment definition, etc.—tools to support Trade Marketing and RGM teams.

Collaborate with Global TM and RGM Manager to execute the 3-year plan roadmap.

Work with external partners to define new tools, models and methodologies related to RGM and Trade Marketing.

Liaise with the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for reporting, insights generation and business analysis.

Coordinate the department to optimize resources for marketing and sales requests.

Foster a collaborative, continuous improvement culture within the team.

Maintain meaningful templates for QBRs, Mid-Year Reviews and Annual Business Planning.

You will need

University degree in Business, Business Analytics, Data Intelligence, Engineering or Mathematics.

Experience in a FMCG global organization with at least 5 years in Data / Business Analytics and RGM / Trade Marketing (in-house or consulting).

Experience understanding pricing models, ROI of promotions, market and business analysis, and customer segmentation models.

Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel; basic programming and machine learning (desirable) to automate reports and develop simple models.

Experience leading small teams and developing them in a collaborative environment.

Experience working with diverse, cross-cultural teams in a matrix environment.

Ability to operate effectively at senior levels within the company.

Notions of programming (desired).

Strong analytical skills; organized, structured yet flexible and pragmatic.

Ability to work with diverse teams and build partnerships to meet targets.

Able to build and develop a team of direct reports, keeping them involved and motivated.

Results-oriented, curious and eager to learn and implement new tools and methodologies.

Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of a second / third European language is an advantage.
