A leading industrial group in the automotive sector is looking for a Cost Controller to join its Finance team. The company operates in a highly technical environment, providing services in assembly, painting, and welding for key automotive manufacturers. The position plays a critical role in monitoring production costs, supporting financial decision-making, and ensuring alignment between operational and financial performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Control and analyze manufacturing and operational costs, including materials, labor, and overheads.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cost variance analyses.
  • Perform monthly closing tasks related to cost accounting and production orders.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory valuation, work-in-progress, and fixed assets.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives and efficiency improvements.
  • Generate regular reports and KPIs for management and contribute to strategic financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and internal control procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in cost controlling or industrial controlling, ideally in automotive, assembly, paint, or welding environments.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP (CO, FI, and MM modules).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Hands-on attitude, proactive mindset, and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and production teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and process-oriented thinking.
