Descripción del trabajoA Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) is required; a graduate degree is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in battery energy storage systems or utility-scale solar, preferably as an applications engineer. Proficient in AutoCAD or related software. Exceptional technical aptitude including the ability to read and fully understand engineering schematics, technical advisory reports and technology reviews. Solid understanding of regulatory standards in the UK related to energy storage and grid-interactive inverters. A global perspective and awareness, with direct experience working across diverse cultures in a multinational company being beneficial. Excellent time management skills, able to balance multiple projects and prioritize a broad variety of issues, initiatives and objectives concurrently.
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing proposals for new energy storage project opportunities and providing technical support to address customer needs.
- Act as a technical liaison for the sales team, working closely with customers and partners to provide product specifications and value engineering discussions.
- Analyze customer documentation to determine project scope, schedule, specifications, risk, and technical requirements.
- Develop size models and conceptual drawings sets (Electrical single-line diagrams, site layouts, etc.).
- Prepare technical documentation for proposals and coordinate the bid package preparation with other departments.
- Conduct technical presentations and provide clarifications to customers and other departments.
