Job Description

We are looking for a product manager to oversee our railroad-centric applications. This role requires strategic thinkers with excellent people skills who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to lead by example and get the job done. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development for the rail network applications at Navis.

Our team works closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and others to design and develop technologies that improve cargo management across the supply chain. We guide products throughout their execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager – TOS, you will be responsible for designing solutions that optimize workflows at container terminals. You will identify next steps for extending and improving our integration solutions, gather requirements, specify designs, collaborate with engineers to develop solutions, and validate new features. A key focus will be managing the user experience for end users.

You will work with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to create a world-class solution and enhance integration to standardize how software and automated equipment are optimized. This will facilitate project implementation, reduce risk, and improve terminal performance.

The role also involves significant engagement with customers and Navis field operations to understand market needs and gather feedback on industry demands and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage our main TOS product
• Create a methodology for partner integration with Kaleris, reducing risk, effort, and resources
• Design and specify integration and automation solutions for standardizing software integration with robotic controls
• Implement validation techniques and tools for new optimization and automation features
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop new solutions and features
• Work with Testing to develop a testing strategy for integration and automation solutions
• Make complex processes simple and create user-friendly products for non-coders
