Overview
Upsilon Global are seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Operations on behalf of an innovative neurology biotech following a successful fundraising round. This role is to work alongside the SLT to help lead and oversee the expanding neurology clinical development portfolio. You will play a key part in shaping the operational strategy and ensuring successful execution of clinical trials across Europe and beyond. This is a permanent, fully remote role available across the EU with occasional travel for key meetings (investigator / stakeholder meetings, audits, conferences).
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of global neurology clinical trials (Phases I–IV).
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all clinical operations activities within neurology programs.
- Line manage and mentor Clinical Operations Managers, CRAs, and other operations staff.
- Select and manage CROs, vendors, and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery within budget and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Medical, Regulatory, QA, Data Management) to achieve program milestones.
- Represent Clinical Operations at senior leadership meetings, influencing study design and portfolio planning.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence, compliance, and innovation.
Required Qualifications
8+ years’ experience in Clinical Operations with a strong background in neurology or CNS clinical trials.3–5+ years of proven leadership experience (line management or senior project leadership).Strong understanding of global clinical trial regulations (ICH-GCP).Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.Degree in life sciences is nice to have, but substantial hands-on experience in clinical operations leadership will be considered equally.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced, and growing biotech environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing biotech with a robust neurology pipeline, contribute to shaping their clinical operations function, and grow your career in a role with high visibility and strategic impact — all while working fully remote within the EU.
