We are seeking a proactive and organised Workshop Manager (m / f / d) to oversee all aspects of our workshop operations in Santa Oliva, Spain. This position will manage a team of technicians, ensure the smooth execution of testing activities, and maintain high standards of efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires excellent coordination skills, strong supplier communication, and occasional travel across Europe to support testing activities on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all workshop activities to ensure optimal performance and workflow.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a small team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to secure the necessary manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve workshop procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of all test activities, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum effectiveness.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock usage, and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless operations.
• Control workshop budgets, monitor expenditures, and manage procurement of consumables responsibly.
• Work closely with the purchasing manager to identify, source, and procure required test materials.
• Organise, receive, and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Assist in the development and preparation of comprehensive test plans and schedules.
• Provide hands-on technical support in the workshop when necessary.
• Ensure all vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained and operated to the highest standard.
• Travel to various sites across Europe to support and coordinate testing activities as needed.
