Production Team Leader (Shift Pattern)

Position Overview :

The Production Team Leader will ensure efficient production development throughout the shift by coordinating and supervising people and material resources.

Please note : The role requires availability to work a 4th shift schedule, which includes rotating 12-hour shifts, two weekends per month, and public holidays within the rotation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise production operations to meet productivity and quality objectives.
• Perform continuous and systematic production monitoring, managing volume produced on each line, and implementing corrective measures during line interruptions.
• Organize production priorities and follow instructions from the Production Manager to ensure smooth shift operations, including efficient changeovers.
• Responsible for station handover and preparing shift reports covering safety, quality, maintenance / equipment issues.
• Focus on reducing spoilage and minimizing machine downtime.
• Lead the production and shift team to ensure organization, performance, and a positive work environment.
• Manage team members to meet daily production schedules, allocate operators across workstations, and request shift changes or overtime as needed.
• Provide regular feedback to employees and verify attendance at the start of shifts.
• Monitor machinery and facilities maintenance, coordinating with the maintenance department during breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety standards in production and packaging processes.
