About The Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Global Controller to join our team, reporting to the CFO. This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for global oversight, policy-setting, and management of the entire accounting function. The ideal candidate will be a technical and strategic leader who can drive excellence in accounting methodologies, build a high-performing team, and foster a culture of greatness across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the global financial close process, setting the worldwide calendar and ensuring timely and accurate reporting for the entire group.
• Establish and maintain global accounting policies and methodologies in accordance with IFRS and other international GAAP standards.
• Lead the technical accounting function, providing high-level guidance on complex transactions and new business initiatives.
• Oversee the global consolidation process, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
• Lead the strategic implementation of our financial systems, particularly the NetSuite consolidation environment and its integration with regional ERPs.
• Establish and maintain a robust framework of internal controls and governance across all entities to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation projects within the accounting function.
• Manage and mentor regional accounting leaders (e.g., Head of Accounting, LatAm & EMEA), ensuring consistency and best practices across the globe.
• Prepare and present consolidated financial statements to the CFO and senior leadership.
• Coordinate and manage the annual group audit, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
