Design Manager Role Overview
The Design Manager will oversee the successful design and execution of various hospitality and F&B projects across Europe, North Africa, and Turkey. This role will lead design initiatives that enhance the guest experience and align with our brand's vision across various F&B and hospitality venues.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unique and engaging experiences for guests while maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design strategies for F&B and hospitality spaces to ensure alignment with brand identity and guest expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated design solutions.
- Manage design projects from initial concept through to execution, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform and inspire innovative design strategies.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively throughout the design process.
- Ensure that all designs adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards relevant to F&B and hospitality environments.
- Coordinate between different disciplines, including interior design consultants, MEP consultants, structural consultants, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements
Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.Minimum of 5 years of experience in design management, specifically within the F&B and hospitality sectors, preferably on the client side.Strong portfolio showcasing successful F&B and hospitality design projects, demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking.Proficiency in design software (e.G., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with 3D rendering tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly to diverse audiences.Deep understanding of current trends in F&B and hospitality, including customer preferences and operational considerations.Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage timelines and budgets effectively.Experience with sustainable design practices in the F&B and hospitality sectors.Knowledge of branding, marketing, and customer experience strategies specific to hospitality.Familiarity with construction processes, vendor management, and working with contractors.Availability to travel frequently.#J-18808-Ljbffr
