We are looking for candidates for the position of Water Treatment Plants specialist with at least 3 years of demonstrable experience in water treatment equipment such as waste water treatment plants, sanitary water treatment plants, desalination plants, demineralized water treatment plants etc.

The Water Treatment Specialist will develop activities for specifying, selecting and follow up of Equipment related to Water Treatment Plants, ensuring the compliance with technical, QA / QC and HSE requirements.

Key Tasks shall include :

• Review project specifications and technical requirements
• Prepare technical documentation for inquiry
• Review Vendor offers and prepare technical evaluations
• Support procurement team in defining cost evaluation for equipment
• Prepare technical documentation for purchase
• Review, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other technical disciplines and Client
• Attend to internal review activities and participate in inter-discipline review meetings (P&IDs screening, 3D Model review, etc)
• Coordinate and assist other technical disciplines to perform engineering activities providing technical information as utilities and electrical load list, layouts, etc
• Provide support for expediting and testing activities
• Provide support to project engineering for Client requirements providing technical information, attending meetings, etc

Required Skills and Qualifications :

We are seeking individuals with knowledge in the preparation of specifications, design, calculation, selection, technical evaluation of offers, inspection and tests of Package Units equipment mainly water treatment plants but also positively valued other types of equipment experience.

Apart from this, main valuable personal characteristics are leadership, proactivity, honesty, focusing on targets, team building and open to learn.
