Technical Sales Engineer

Overview Mayekawa is a 101-year-old family-owned Japanese Engineering Company. We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our back-office sales team in Vigo. This role will focus on selecting and quoting industrial equipment.

Responsibilities Review customer specifications and tenders

Perform selections and calculations for industrial equipment, from standard compressors to large scale heat pumps

Execute cost calculation analysis and prepare offers

Align design standards with our execution department

Identify opportunities for new product development and product cost reduction

Profile and Qualifications University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Knowledge in thermodynamics and refrigeration is a plus

Organized, committed and with a focus on producing quality work

Team player but also able to work independently

Not scared of working in an international context

Good English and Spanish language skills

Travel maximum up to 25% of the time.

This role may require visits to active construction sites that may lack accessibility features, possibly involving uneven terrain, climbing stairs or ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods.
