Project manager (Cat. II)

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called : Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region 2026+ and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is for a consultant (the “Service Provider”) to carry out a Study on Karlovy Vary region’s economic opportunities and challenges for the transition to a green economy and energy system (the “Project”).

Location : Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic.

Duration : The intended start date is October 2025 and the services shall be provided for a period of 9 months from this date.

Key Expert : Project manager (Cat. II) :

☝️ Qualifications and skills :

At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering; Industrial Economics or Innovation Management; Environmental or Energy Policy.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1) ( minimum requirement ).

Fluency in written and spoken Czech would be an asset .

Excellent communication skills.

Strong analytical and policy drafting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams).

☝️ General professional experience :

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including senior management or advisory role in at least two of the areas presented below :

• Industrial transformation;
• Clean technology deployment;

Strategic project development.

☝️ Specific professional experience :

At least 5 years of experience as Team Leader or Project Manager in development and / or investment finance ( minimum requirement ).

Experience working with : Public authorities and industry stakeholders; EU-funded projects or international institutions will be considered as an asset .

Experience working in Czechia will be considered as an asset .

International experience will be considered as an asset .

In-depth knowledge of Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), proven by at least one project will be considered as an asset .
