Project Finance Director Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Finance Director to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Project Finance team, you will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of project finance transactions across Southern Europe.

Your primary focus will be on assessing project finance proposals, analyzing specific information and related cashflows, and structuring appropriate loan terms and conditions from a risk-return perspective. You will also be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and developing new customer opportunities in corporate lending.

In addition, you will manage the existing loan book from a credit and risk perspective, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and codes of best practice is appropriately monitored. A track record of delivering specifically agreed goals operating on an independent basis and / or as a member of a broader team is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Project Finance / Structured Finance / Corporate Banking, strong relationship building and management skills, and a proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in the development of written material in the form of reports are also required.

A strong analytical skillset and experience in ensuring well-managed growth while maintaining robust credit culture / standards are necessary. Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
