Are you an energetic and results-oriented Inside Sales Engineer who wants to move our customers’ performance forward?

Did you know that control valves are the most important part of any process control loop?

The right control valve selection is based on an understanding of the industry, process, and application it will be used in. Their role is to ensure accurate, repeatable, and reliable long-lasting flow control performance. We at Valmet understand the conditions under which industrial valves must perform, and help our customers select the right valve for the job.

We are looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Engineer. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain.

In this position, you are expected to :

  • Create opportunities and quotations replying to customer inquiries.
  • Make full use of Indian Hub support or Project Quotation Team.
  • Review standard quotations to meet customer technical requirements.
  • Respond to enquiries from the sales force or customers about Valmet products and services.
  • Support sales and the distribution channel.
  • Liaise with sales support engineers and product management to ensure products and services are modified and configured according to customer needs.
  • Process and check orders with group factories and sub-suppliers, using the Indian Order Handling team.
  • Support existing customers in selecting the best products and share feedback received from customers with your team.
  • Proactively participate with the Account Manager in seeking new customers.
  • Participate in internal projects and training proactively.
  • Meet the quality and HSE criteria defined by Valmet.

Requirements :

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in Flow Control fields and valves-related background is valued.
  • Demonstrated success in a global matrix environment and strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Personal qualities : autonomy, proactivity, initiative, teamwork, commitment to quality, results-driven, customer-oriented.
