JOB SUMMARY
As a site coordinator you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for supporting all areas of a project delivery and commissioning phase.
As an integral part of the project day-to-day activities, you will assist with all aspects of scheduling, organising, and tracking work.
Working alongside a project delivery team (PM, Logistics, Subcontractors, Service, Client), you will be incredibly driven, dependable and passionate about understanding and pre-empting project delivery requirements, ensuring dependencies are unblocked.
The Site Coordinator will also be required to participate in a variety of areas including but not limited to the following :
- Attendance at Site based meetings
- Regional resource planning
- Reporting on client-based snag and progress tracking systems
- Transaction process management improvement
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Working with the Project Manager to interpret and manage inbound OEM devices and site-based activitiesMaintaining schedules as requiredReport any problems / risks uncovered to the Project ManagerAttending meetings & reviews, taking concise and comprehensive notes, and passing information to the team and client as requiredArranging subcontractors and delivery teams as requiredWorking with QA to ensure any issues are raised and notedUndertaking relevant on-the-job training where required and keep up-to-date with site requirementsInstil a good H&S environmentOther tasks as requiredBe a proactive member of the EMEA projects team and attend meetings as requiredAssist in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives to reduce lead times, minimise inventory and increase efficiency and profitabilityImprove management of sub-contract activity including maintenance of preferred supplier status and performance measurement statistics, keeping subcontracts spend to a minimumPerform other duties and oversee special projects and assignments as directed by the EMEA Projects TeamJOB QUALIFICATIONS
Both Spanish and English language as mandatoryHighly organised and proactive, with excellent time management, planning & communication skillsProject management experience advantageousExperience of Microsoft Project and / or Excel advantageousExperience working within site based role advantageousPractical and methodical approach to problem solvingDemonstrates dependability and commitment to project / tasksFlexible approach with the ability to adapt with changeAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesH&S knowledge is desiredEnsure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
