Engineering Team Lead

Overview

Who you are

5+ years of experience as a software engineer, including backend and API development

Proven track record of successfully leading engineering squads of 5+ people through complex projects and deliveries

Proficiency in Ruby on Rails

Experience with React or similar modern frontend frameworks

Working knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, etc.) and responsive design principles

Understanding of distributed systems, architecture, and design patterns

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience with testing frameworks (unit, integration, automation) for backend systems

Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and translate technical concepts to business value

Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a passion for developing engineering talent

Good communication and collaboration skills in English

Experience in SaaS or high-growth startup environments is a plus
