We’re looking for a Financial & Industrial Controller to join our HQ in Barcelona. If you have at least 7 years of experience and the right mindset, keep reading!
Responsibilities :
Act as a strategic partner to other departments, ensuring they receive accurate and timely financial information.
Analyze and control food cost, production cost, and supply chain efficiency .Monitor wastage, shrinkage, and yield to optimize margins.Perform variance analysis (forecast vs. actuals) on raw materials and production.Support procurement and operations teams with financial insights.Stock & Inventory ControlOversee stock valuation and reconciliations across restaurants and the central warehouse.
Ensure accuracy of inventory systems and perform periodic controls.Develop tools and procedures to improve stock rotation, forecasting, and replenishment .Work closely with operations to reduce losses, optimize purchasing, and guarantee supply availability .Define, analyze, and control the annual budget covering P&L, Cash Flow, and Capex.Consolidate Group monthly reporting of all subsidiaries (national and international).Conduct management reports , analyze variances, and propose corrective measures.Ensure proper audit preparation and compliance with financial regulations.Develop reports and operational KPIs to support decision-making.Propose, lead, and implement new systems to automate and simplify processes .Provide financial analysis and recommendations for strategic initiatives .Skills & Qualifications :
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, P&L, and Capex analysis .Strong background in industrial controlling (retail or hospitality experience highly valued).Solid knowledge of inventory control, stock valuation, and cost analysis .Experience in audit preparations and ensuring compliance.Proficiency with PowerBI or similar BI tools.Advanced MS Office user (Excel expert).Languages (must) : Spanish & English fluently.Strongly valued : French.Strongly valued : Knowledge of local financial and labor laws in France and the UK.Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Free daily food in our restaurants
