Senior DevOps Expert

Job Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing support to the deployment team, participating in troubleshooting sessions, and reviewing infra-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

Deploy and manage applications, Kubernetes resources, and Helm charts within OpenShift environments.

Configure OpenShift clusters and manage configurations through GitOps practices.

Perform Unix-based deployment tasks and manage Kubernetes pods, routes, and application sets.

Automate deployment workflows and platform configurations using Ansible Tower.

Review and correct contractor-provided configurations to align with company standards.

Act as a liaison between contractors (e.g., CSP) and the company, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.

Maintain and manage YAML configuration files.

Implement and oversee GitOps workflows to ensure streamlined deployment processes and version control.

Oversee application deployments using GitOps methodologies and Helm charts.

Ensure deployment workflows across platforms are reliable, consistent, and efficient.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in infrastructure technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in an agile software development environment. They will also have hands-on experience with tools and platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and ServiceMesh. Additionally, they will be proficient in scripting languages such as bash and have experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines.
