Overview

SaaS Implementation Engineer / Technical Solution Architect at Siemens Healthineers. The role is part of Varian’s Digital Oncology SaaS Enablement team and focuses on the efficient delivery of SaaS implementation projects. The position can be based in Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Italy, or Spain.

Role Description

The SaaS Implementation Engineer / Technical Solution Architect is a key member of the SaaS Enablement team responsible for the efficient delivery of SaaS implementation projects. You will collaborate with SaaS Enablement and other cross-functional teams to deliver implementation projects and work with Varian’s extensive customer base to deploy multiple SaaS offerings.

Responsibilities

• Establish credibility with technical, clinical, and business stakeholders.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity to the Varian Cloud (AWS and Azure), HL7 messaging, FHIR, Cloverleaf, security settings, VPNs, and IP whitelisting.
• Work cross-functionally within Varian to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Provide customer-facing technical leadership during implementations, focusing on networking, data interoperability, security, and operations for Varian’s SaaS portfolio.
• Lead the design, development, and troubleshooting of SaaS implementations, ensuring successful deployment from kickoff to go-live.
• Perform cloud product installations and configurations, including on-premises connectivity.
• Respond promptly to incidents and technical events.
• Review customer IT infrastructure and project plans to ensure alignment with installation requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on implementation operations for Product, Engineering, Sales, and other teams.
• Participate in internal testing and training procedures.
• Maintain and update customer cloud-supported product environments as needed.
• Compile status reports for project managers and leadership.
• Analyze implementation data to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Work with cloud-based and on-premises environments, including operating systems, databases, and networking technologies.
• Complete task documentation in accordance with Varian’s quality processes and procedures.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and apply critical thinking, good judgment, and strong decision-making skills.
• Attend planning calls and provide technical input as needed; complete company-provided training within designated timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Digital Oncology and other business lines.
• Report to the Director of the SaaS Enablement Team.
