About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technical leadership, you will be responsible for defining and owning the overall system architecture, requirements, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary technical representative for all system design aspects on assigned projects.
  • Define and own the overall system architecture, requirements, and specifications, ensuring they meet functionality, safety, performance, and cost objectives.
  • Decompose high-level system functions and allocate them to sub-systems or components, managing dependencies between different technical disciplines.
  • Analyze customer and stakeholder specifications to define clear, verifiable internal requirements.
  • Lead and support technical discussions with customers and certification authorities.
  • Generate, validate, and manage all necessary technical data, documentation, and evidence throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Support integration, validation, verification, and qualification (IVVQ) activities.
  • Contribute to project shaping activities (e.g., proposals, requests for information) by defining technical requirements and effort estimations.
  • Manage technical relationships with suppliers, including work package definition and technical follow-up.
  • Estimate tasks, report on progress, and proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the full development lifecycle of complex systems.
  • Proven experience as a technical authority on system architecture, design, and requirements analysis.
  • Solid understanding of certification processes for safety-critical products.
  • Experience supporting integration, validation, and verification (IVVQ) activities.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
