Job Purpose :
As the Senior Manager, Business Development - Cisco Recurring Revenue & Buying Programs , you will play a pivotal role in l eading a team of Business Development professionals at both a strategic and tactical level, to drive profitable market share growth through business plan creation and execution of Cisco Recurring Revenue & Buying Programs . Utilising TD SYNNEX sales teams and various marketing and business tools to address all relevant routes to market and acts as a role model for the division providing direction, coaching and support in line with the company values
Responsibilities :
Responsible for growing TD SYNNEX’s share of wallet (market share) with Cisco.
Foster a high performance culture within the division and ensure the most effective organisation of the team and its use of tools to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
Ownership of developing and executing vendor business plans
Support the development and execution of marketing plans alongside the Marketing Manager
Accurate and timely weekly forecasting and pipeline development
Development of key channel relationships
Key customer engagement
Vendor operational, sales and marketing team engagement
Large deal & pipeline engagement
Driving the presence and profile of Cisco internally within TD SYNNEX and externally to customers
Negotiate on deals and rebates
Input into purchasing, sales and pricing policy
Strategic input into vendor and business unit market propositions
Management and development of a team of business development professionals
Active member of the business unit leadership team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors and Competition
Experience of SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantage
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Degree in a business related subject is desirable / an advantage
Experience of people management and development is essential
Cisco background would be an advantage (buying programs, renewals, agreements, programs...)
Previous Cisco knowledge, renewals or recurring revenue experience would be an advantage.
