Job Title : Senior Director GOE ME Manufacturing Processes Owner

As Senior Director GOE ME Manufacturing Processes Owner at dsm-firmenich, you will spearhead the transformation of our manufacturing operations by aligning factory-relevant processes with the future-ready S / 4HANA platform. Leveraging your deep expertise in S / 4HANA implementations across diverse industry verticals, you will lead cross-functional collaboration between business units and IT to define and optimize process maps that support our global manufacturing footprint. Your strategic vision and hands-on experience will be key in identifying improvement opportunities, ensuring scalable solutions for varied factory archetypes, and driving operational excellence across the enterprise. Your Key Responsibilities

SAP S / 4HANA Transformation Expertise : Lead the Manufacturing Function through our complex S / 4HANA transformation, supporting the SVP Manufacturing Excellence (ME) as process owner and leading the activities from within the business CoE.

Manufacturing Best Practice Integration : Use your deep functional expertise in PP, PP-PI, WM, EWM, PM and QM, to assess as-is site-specific shop floor processes to identify and agree opportunities for transformation, enabled by the new S / 4 capabilities.

Process Harmonization & Fit-Gap Process : Lead the cross-BU process discovery and harmonization workshops, identifying and agreeing Level 3 / 4 process variants, conducting fit-gap assessments against the target S / 4 model then leading the workshops to find common solutions where there are deviations.

Blueprint to Execution Continuity : Bridge strategy and implementation by leading the definition of a business process structure that is executable in our target S / 4HANA model, linking manufacturing, internal logistics, quality and maintenance into an integrated flow.

Solution Architecture Coherence : although focused on the S / 4 ERP project, ensure that S / 4 design and process decisions remain coherent with the existing and evolving wider solutions landscape including site level L2 & 3 systems and corporate non-SAP systems.

Operationalize the Solution : Guide the pilot implementations to exit hyper care with minimal business impact and agreed success metrics achieved.

You bring

Extensive expertise in manufacturing business processes, including process gathering, analysis, mapping, recommendation, negotiation, and implementation.

Comfortable working in dynamic manufacturing environments, driving process improvements from shopfloor operations to enterprise-level solutions.

Broad cross-industry experience across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors, enabling versatile and scalable process design.

Proven track record of delivering multiple full lifecycle SAP S / 4HANA implementations, ensuring seamless digital transformation and operational alignment.

Strong project management capabilities, with a history of successfully leading complex initiatives and aligning digital solutions with business strategy.
