A leading global semiconductor company based in Madrid are seeking to bolster their team with a talented mixed-signal design engineer.
Responsibilities :
- Strong expertise in ADC / DAC architectures, performance metrics, design trade-offs, and selecting optimal ADC / DAC solutions for diverse applications.
- Proficient in designing and implementing analog / mixed-signal building blocks, including band-gaps, CMOS bias generators, TIAs, op-amps, filters, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, and ADCs.
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools (e.G., Cadence Virtuoso) and proven success with tapeouts, including developing behavioural models and conducting architecture-level trade-off analyses.
- Skilled in high-precision circuit design under device mismatch and supply noise constraints, collaborating with layout engineers to ensure parasitic-aware and matched designs.
- Experienced in C, MATLAB, and Verilog modelling, supporting silicon bring-up, lab validation, debugging, documentation, and IP integration into customer products.
Requirements :
Advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field, with 3–5 years (mid-level) or 6+ years (senior-level) of relevant mixed-signal IC design experience.Hands-on expertise in mixed-signal IC design, including ADC / DAC circuits, analog fundamentals (noise, matching, linearity, stability), and system-level integration / SoC interfacing.Proficient in Cadence design tools, Spectre, and behavioural modelling (Verilog-A, SystemVerilog-AMS), with experience in full-custom analog layout, extraction, verification, and sign-off.Familiarity with advanced CMOS process nodes and practical skills in developing high-performance, reliable ICs.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute in a fast-paced, international team environment offering impactful projects, competitive compensation, equity, flexible work arrangements, and a culture valuing innovation and ownership. If this role is of interest please apply directly on LinkedIn or send a copy of your CV to
