Important multinational Group is looking for a "Group IFRS and Consolidation Manager" located in Madrid. It is a Corporate role. Minimum 5-7 years of finance experience. The ideal candidate will be an Audit Manager of a Big 4, with wide IFRS knowledge. Very good IFRS knowledge is a must. Experience in accounting Consolidation will be very desirable. Very high English level is a must. Office in the center of Madrid.

Overview

Reporting to the Head Group Accounting, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities :

Responsibilities

• Preparation of internal management reports.
• Ensure quality and integrity of financial and accounting data via sanity checks and balance sheet reviews.
• Support the legal entities and other stakeholders in accounting and consolidation questions.
• Support further development of the Group Accounting Manual in accordance with IFRS, including training of colleagues worldwide and implementation of new requirements (IFRS / SIX).
• Support the preparation of the IFRS mid-year and annual consolidated financial statements, incl. responsibility for certain notes and comments.
• Assist with the monthly Group Consolidation process.
• Support the monthly preparation of consolidated financial statements.
