Job Description Summary

As a Field Service Engineer, you will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life‑changing medical equipment. The role involves traveling to visit customers on site throughout the CyL community, with key locations in León city and Ponferrada.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Focused on technical training essential for a particular business or function, and does not include Leadership Learning.
  • Broadening knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups to execute policy / strategy.
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework; resolves issues requiring technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
  • Available to work in a wide modalities spectrum (Ultrasounds, RX, PCS, CT) and open to new knowledge with a desire to learn.

Required Qualifications

  • A diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology, or solid experience as Field Service Engineer.
  • Good technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to plan and organize your own work effectively and to work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and customer service skills – you can deal with differences of opinion tactfully and effectively, and you influence rather than direct.
  • Good knowledge of English language for training courses and fluent communication.
  • Desired Characteristics

  • The ability to manage other people and resources.
  • A strong business acumen – you have a good understanding of the factors that influence customer behavior.
