Backend Engineer

Overview

Intemic is a SaaS platform specializing in industrial manufacturing environments. We enable companies to create data flows of their processes, products, and services to improve quality metrics, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact through better planning and resource utilization. Our platform collects, orchestrates, analyzes, visualizes, and learns from millions of data points sourced from sensors, quality control systems, and other data-collecting sources—all in real time. We aim to decarbonize industry by applying a digital layer that enhances collaboration, transparency, sustainability KPI monitoring, and advanced model-based recommendations to improve efficiency of industrial-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using asynchronous Python and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new functionality, and improve existing features.
• Engage with real-time data processing, implementing and optimizing algorithms for large-scale data handling.
• Contribute to the overall architecture of backend services and infrastructure.
• Take initiative in learning our product, understanding real-world cases, building them in the product, and delivering value to users.
