Senior DevOps Engineer | Up to 70k | Full Remote (Spain)

Overview We are supporting our client, a fast-growing European fintech company revolutionizing the way businesses handle subscription payments, in their search for a Senior DevOps Engineer . This is a unique opportunity to be the first DevOps hire and take full ownership of infrastructure, shaping the foundations of reliability, scalability, and security as the company continues its rapid expansion.

This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in Europe, but preferably in Spain .

Responsibilities Manage and scale AWS infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and security.

Automate deployment, monitoring, and operations processes for high availability .

Collaborate closely with developers to streamline CI / CD pipelines .

Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI, and DORA standards.

Drive incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Your first mission will be to lead the company’s journey towards achieving key certifications (ISO 27001, PCI, DORA) : conducting an initial gap analysis together with the CTO, and driving the infrastructure changes required to reach full compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure and services.

3+ years working with CI / CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.

Proven experience with ISO 27001, PCI, or DORA .

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to Have (Optional but Valuable) Experience with Java or Node.js environments.

Familiarity with frontend frameworks ( React, Angular, Vue ).

Previous exposure to fintech or financial services .
