Whitewater Group is headquartered in Bray, Co. Wicklow with a satellite office in Naas, Co. The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning on-site construction time is kept to a minimum.
Due to continued expansion, we now seek a Automation Engineer to work on various projects in Data Centre Sectors. Design and implementation of industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA), with a special focus on Siemens technology (TIA Portal, Step7, WinCC).
Development of control architectures, instrumentation integration and PLC programming.
IO lists, control philosophy, logic diagrams, electrical drawings, data sheets, etc.
Coordination and supervision of FAT and SAT tests, as well as support in the commissioning of installations.
Technical leadership in multidisciplinary projects, from the design phase to the final delivery.
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering or similar. Higher Level Training Cycle in Automation
~ More than 5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in the water sector, other industries being valid : Chemicals, food, pharma, logistics, automotive.
~ Advanced knowledge in the design of low-voltage electrical panels and international regulations (IEC, UL, NFPA).
~ Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, MODBUS TCP / RTU, Profibus, BACnet).
~ English level B2 / C1 (essential for documentation and communication with international clients).
~Experience with redundant PLCs, Siemens S7-1500, ET200SP and HMI systems.
Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
