Overview Payroll Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with external payroll providers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources department or administrative payroll office, handling payroll tasks and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities Coordinating with external payroll providers and internal departments
Administering employee benefits such as health insurance, meal programs, flexible benefits, and other company-provided perks
Overseeing the rent-a-car benefit, including coordination with providers and internal requirements
Providing administrative support for employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Managing documentation related to internships, employment contracts, contract renewals, promotions, employee leaves, and other HR-related records
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee information in internal HR and payroll systems
Loading and maintaining the annual planning of the holiday calendar by region in the clocking system
Handling departmental invoices and collaborating with the Finance team as needed
Ensuring compliance with current labor laws and regulations regarding social security, contracts, leave, vacations, and employee documentation
Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR-related matters, clocking system, and other company policies
Recommending and supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures
Supporting the preparation of HR-related reports, audits, and financial reviews, including accurate documentation
Overseeing the proper management, organization, and filing of all company employment documentation
Required skills and qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources department or administrative payroll office
Knowledge of applying labor laws and regulations within Human Resources processes
Proven ability to provide guidance to employees on labor-related matters and ensure adherence to compliance policies
Background in overseeing payroll administration, including salary processing
Demonstrable experience in administrative people management tasks
