DIVERA GmbH digitizes and accelerates processes for companies, authorities, fire departments, and aid organizations. We develop and operate the alerting and availability system DIVERA 24 / 7 as a SaaS platform.
Our app enables customers to reach their personnel within seconds during emergencies, operational disruptions, and other critical incidents.
Managers and dispatchers are informed immediately about team readiness. The integrated messenger allows real-time information exchange.
We aim to further develop the Android app and expand its functions. As an Android specialist, you will have significant responsibility and a clear goal : to build the perfect app. Become our Android expert!
Tasks
- Independently develop the in-house app, which is currently 90% Java, with ongoing Kotlin integration.
- Integrate REST interfaces, program custom views, etc.
- Ensure compatibility with older smartphones, currently up to Android 8.
- Adjust energy-saving settings for various manufacturers.
- Collaborate continuously with other IT specialists on design, client-server architecture, and testing.
Qualifications
Experience with Java, Kotlin, and native Android app development.Familiarity with Android Developer Preview is essential.Understanding of databases and web interfaces.High standards for code quality, including testability and maintainability.Good sense of contemporary UI design and user experience.Experience with Android Studio, FCM, Git, and Jira is advantageous.Benefits
