We are undertaking an ambitious and strategic journey to become Europes leading provider of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). With active expansion into key markets including Germany and Italy we are building the foundations for long-term pan-European growth.

In addition as part of this next phase Nido is preparing to execute a landmark acquisition that will significantly increase our operational footprint across Europe. This transaction will be instrumental in achieving our target of managing 25000 beds by 2031 and in cementing our position as a market leader in the sector.

We are therefore seeking a dynamic hands-on Project Manager to join our Integration Team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the integration of the two businesses acting as a central coordination point across multiple workstreams. Reporting to the Chief Integration officer you will work closely with workstream leads executive sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely integration process.

This is a critical position requiring strong M&A integration experience exceptional project management skills and a collaborative mindset.

Note : this is a 12 month contract opportunity

Responsibilities Lead and coordinate cross-functional integration activities across all workstreams (e.g. Operations HR IT Finance Marketing Legal and Communications).

Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related updates ensuring clear communication and accountability across teams.

Work closely with the Chief Integration Officer and senior leadership to track progress mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively.

Develop and manage project plans timelines and key milestones ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Facilitate regular workstream check-ins steering committee meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders.

Ensure integration activities are completed on schedule within scope and budget.

Identify interdependencies across workstreams and manage integration risks and issues.

Maintain project documentation including RAID logs (Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies) and decision logs.

Work closely with Finance to ensure integration synergies are clearly tracked and reported against agreed targets.

Collaborate with the Communications Lead to ensure all workstream leads have a clear understanding of project milestones updates and internal messaging.

Support the transition to Business-as-Usual (BAU) by coordinating the handover of responsibilities and embedding integration activities into core operations.

Requirements Proven experience as a Project Manager ideally within the real estate hospitality or student housing sectors.

5 years of M&A integration experience with a solid understanding of the integration lifecycle ideally in pan-European settings

Strong organisational and coordination skills across multiple functions and geographies.

Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion in fast-paced dynamic environments.

Hands-on pragmatic approach with excellent attention to detail.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Proficient in project management tools.

Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 Agile certification) are a plus.

Fluent in English and Spanish; Italian and German language skills are an advantage.
