Regional Accounting Manager

DayOne is a global leader in building and operating high-performance data centers. We’re looking for a Regional Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain.

What You’ll Do

Lead the full spectrum of finance responsibilities, including month-end close, financial and management reporting, forecasting, and budget support.

Manage the claims process for reimbursements.

Prepare tax returns and corporate tax filings.

Partner with outsource providers, auditors, and tax agents to ensure compliance with local accounting standards, statutory, and tax requirements.

Continuously improve processes and strengthen compliance with statutory and group policies.

Support ad-hoc finance projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, plus CA / CPA / ACCA or similar certification.

7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 4+ years in a Big 4 firm.

Strong knowledge of group accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal controls.

Experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance is an advantage.

Hands-on experience with SAP S / 4HANA preferred.

Excellent English skills (spoken & written). Spanish or Finnish is a plus.
